How to get here 

 

From the airports get directions to VEJER DE LA FRONTERA via the E5 / A48 / N-340 / A-2233 - take the Vejer de la Frontera exit and drive up the hill to the town, either follow the signs to Supersol (in the new part of town) or follow the hand drawn map (see below). 

 

The written instructions below commence from Supersol supermarket (open Monday - Saturday 9am-9pm) in Vejer de la Frontera new town on the corner of Avenida Buenavista and Avenida de Andalucia

 

How to find Casa Campo de la Luz: 

- From Supersol take the road that goes up hill, leaving the town in the direction of the windmills (Carretera de los Soldados/Militares). This is the road that goes to San Ambrosio, and there are houses on the right hand side, and what looks like a building site and fields on your left. 

- At the end of the ridge (you'll have glorious views of the coastline on your right and fields and Barbate in the distance on your left) there is fork in the road. Take the right hand fork which goes downhill; the first bit of tarmac road ends here. 

- You arrive at another fork in the road: again go right and downhill, passing Equus and Finca Buenavista on your right. 

- At the end of a concrete slope there is another fork in the road; this time go left, past the spring Fuente Foncubierta. Here the new bit of tarmac starts. 

- Where the tarmac ends ( a bit more than 1km) there is a track on your left, with a couple of post boxes and two signs - one saying casa campo de la luz (our place) and a blue sign saying Casa Gaia, our neighbours house. 

- Go straight along this track, it end in our land within about 500m. You pass some small houses, and after the last house on your right (a wooden house) the road goes steeply down hill, and is made of concrete. Go down this slope, up the other side, you will pass one driveway, turn into the second driveway on your left, there is sign there also (casa campo de la luz). 

- Park in the designated area and you have arrived!
